Weird star artifact - bad PA or bad seeing or something else?

I imaged the Leo Triplet using FLI 16803 on a TEC180FL (1134mm FL with reducer-corrector) sitting atop my 1100 with AE. The pixel scale is 1.66 arc-sec/pixel

Reporting back on the PHD2 guiding issue. I moved to version 2.11dev4 and now I get round stars instead of x marks for stars.
