Yes, it's normal.
High speed servo motors and precision spur reduction gears will be audibly noisy when slewing, but will have very smooth tracking action. No sudden jumps of many arc seconds that can happen in belt drive reduction.
If you want to reduce the sound you can slow the slew speed down.
