How often should PEC training be redone?  I have an older 1200 mount with a CP3 that carries a sixteen inch Newtonian in a permanent setup that is used about 5 nights/month.

You should probably check it every 3-4 months to see if it needs a new curve. Apply a new curve if the old curve isn't correcting as it did when it was originally loaded.
