APPM only in north/north east

The new green comet is occluded by my house except I can setup my Mach2 on a tripod due North/North-East.

How can I limit APPM from just modeling points in the North or North-East?

First, create a custom horizon file for APCC and APPM to use. With this, you can have APPM not plot points that are below the horizon.

Second, you can create a dec-arc model of sufficient width for just the comet itself, further limiting the model to just that arc of visible sky.

Hi Shailesh

I am in your area, where the comet is only in the north/northest.

I assume you meant to ask how to model just this sky area? if so, you can use the min Declination for south) and Min/Max hour angle for east/west

Here's an example that includes your point mapper settings and your apcc meridian limit settings

If you meant the opposite (model everything but the north/northeast) you can adjust the same settings, but it would be roughly the opposite setup
