Hi Brian,

When you run APCC it will indicate a new version is available in the title. Then from APCC's help menu you can use Check for updates to get the download link.

Hi Ray,

My APCC 1.8.0.4 doesn't see the update when I press "Check for updates".

This has happened with the previous version as well. Is there any log you'd like to have to see what the problem may be.

Hi Ray,

I ran APCC Pro 1.8.0.5. When I check for updates I get the answer No updates to APCC are available. Do I have to be connected to a mount?

Okay, then maybe your anti-virus application is blocking APCC from sending anything off your computer.

Try turning AV off then try again.

Windows Defender Firewall can block applications. Without realizing the impact you might have clicked yes to a prompt that disabled APCC from being able to access the web. There is not much else that could prevent APCC from doing a simple HTML request. I guess maybe it could be that you need to update windows or haven't updated an optional update related to .Net framework.

Hi Brian,

When you run APCC it will indicate a new version is available in the title. Then from APCC's help menu
you can use Check for updates to get the download link.

Cytan,

I can't explain why your computer or network is (probably) not passing the request to the website.

Can you email your IP address privately to me (don't post it here) and I'll look to see if there have been any requests from that IP address?

Email me at groups3 at gralak dot com.
