[ap-ug] M101 from our light polluted skies

Khushrow Machhi #86870 How long were the subs? Do you need a 190 point model because of the fl? Would a smaller model, modeled around the object work as well? Roland Christen #86872 A smaller model modeled on the path of the object would definitely work fine. I chose to do a full model so I can use the pointing model to place objects on the chip. Without the pointing model I was not able to do that - thus the need for a full sky model. Actually 190 points for the full sky is basic and a bit sparse compared to what real dedicated imagers use. I probably should double that to get better accuracy.
