Announcement: Update release for APCC and ASCOM V2 software

Brian Valente #92502 Hello Astronuts! We have released new versions of APCC and ASCOM V2 that are now available for download and installation. These are both a small bug fix/enhancement releases based on customer feedback and additional testing. Update versions can be downloaded from https://www.astro-physics.com/software-updates/ The updated versions are: APCC Pro version 1.9.6.7 APCC Standard version 1.9.6.6 ASCOM V2 version 5.60.04 You will need to update both APCC and ASCOM V2 For this release you can install over your existing software (you do not need to uninstall/install) Among the changes in this update: Incorrect "Warning: Park Cancelled" no longer shows in third party apps when parking mount (particularly NINA) APCC View South checkbox display option preference is now saved Restrict range of Dec Arc Tracking to within min and max declination (APCC Pro) If you are upgrading from an earlier release or want to know more about the 1.9.6 release this introductory video explains the installation procedure and new connection workflow: https://youtu.be/7r2qujy8BkM Thanks Brian Brian Valente astro portfolio https://www.brianvalentephotography.com/astrophotography/ portfolio brianvalentephotography.com astrobin https://www.astrobin.com/users/bvalente/

Steve Reilly #92503 Thanks Guys, Not to get picky here but couldn’t they name it with the version number vs latest. I like to keep a backup just incase I need to go back so the version number makes it easy to track. Part of the reason for the generic naming is so that the link does not need to be changed on the downloads page each time a version changes and the file is immediately available to anyone who downloads.
