Looking for a few testers: APCC + Nina Park Warning
Hi everyone

--
We're looking for a couple of APCC+NINA users on the latest version to verify a fix for the NINA Park warning.
Please PM me if you have some time to test.
So far it looks good on all our machines, we would like a few customers to try it as well. Very simple installer upgrade for APCC.
This is for anyone who upgraded to the latest APCC 1.9.6.3 and ASCOM 5.60.03 and experience "Warning: Park Cancelled" when parking from NINA
Once we have a little more testing we will release to everyone

Hi David

Thanks
You can download and install this version of APCC over your existing version
you don't have to be under the stars or even have a NINA sequence running to test
You can connect to the mount, unpark the mount, slew a little bit, and then park the mount from NINA. It should not show the warning
Before you test please also make sure you have ASCOM logging enabled:

Hey Brian,
Just tried it out a couple of times a few minutes ago in my living room. Got mixed results:
- on the first try, it seemed to work (no park warning) but NINA was sluggishgly responsive. I didn't know if it was due to some pending Windows updates or something else going on on my PC so I disconnected from the internet and rebooted to a fresh start.
- on the second try, I got an "APCC Park Failed" message in NINA (but the mount actually parked as commanded)
- on the third try, I got the warning message again (with the mount still parking correctly)...
Find my APCC+ASCOM logs attached as well as my NINA logs should you need them.
FYI I'm using a Windows 10 Pro laptop and the mount is a Mach2.
Let me know if you need anything else.
Sébastien

Dale Ghent
I just tested a fix from Ray that seems to solve the issue, so expect an update in due course.

Just tried it. I continue to get the "Park operation cancelled" error from NINA. I found that the mount slewed to my configured park position 1. One time the mount was still tracking after assuming the park position, and the other time it actually stopped and appeared to do the right thing.
