Hi Kalpesh,
There is no such code you should need to enter with APCC.
If you manually downloaded and installed any Eltima software product, you must uninstall it from your computer.

Also, please make sure you are installing the latest released APCC Pro version (1.9.0.11). Here is the direct link: https://www.apastrosoftware.com/apcc_download/APCC_Pro_Setup_1.9.0.11.exe -Ray -----Original Message----- |

Hello Ray,
Thank you so much for your reply. I checked the add-remove-programs and did not find any software installed by Eltima Software. The APCC comes up once I go past the registration, but unable to create the Virtual port -- was able to create COM21 earlier. I checked for upgrade and found that the latest version is 1.9.0.11 but face the same problem. Ignoring the registration causes the following error during virtual port creation. Are there any installation logs that I can provide? Regards, -Kalpesh |

There are no installation logs and I never heard of anyone having the Eltima product ask for a license. I wonder if the installer has been corrupted.

Try this: 1. Uninstall APCC from the computer. 2. Delete the file c:/programdata/Astro-Physics/APCC/settings.apcc 3. Reboot the computer. 4. Download APCC 1.9.0.11 again from the link I just posted erlier. 5. Reinstall APCC. -Ray -----Original Message----- |

Hello Ray,
Thank you for your reply. I tried what you mentioned a couple of times with and without reboot and the problem persisted. Cleaned up most of the programs from the list of installed programs. Finally narrowed down to these two files in c:\Windows\SysWOW64\VSFLEX7.OCX and VSPort.dll - deleting these two files seems to have solved the problem and the virtual ports in the APCC are now created and APCC does not report any errors. My next alternative was to reinstall windows or go back to an old restore point. Thanks. Regards, -Kalpesh |

Cleaned up most of the programs from the list of installed programs.VSPort.DLL is used by the Eltima ActiveX control and APCC, but VSFlex7.OCX is not. -Ray -----Original Message----- |
