I am toying with the idea of controlling my AP1200GTO with a Pocket PC and a USB to Serial Adapter. I am planning on using The Sky and T-point with Mobile 5.1 operating system. Has anyone ventured in this arena before that could give me some pointers to circumvent alot of the learning curve. Maybe there are some caveats I am not aware of? I figured this might be a good way for me to go visually because I will have the Planetarium software to do a what is up in the sky tonight??? Any thoughts from anyone???
You can use a Pocket PC with Bluetooth to connect to your mount with something like a Socket CSA adapter on your mount's serial port.
