I don't rightly know if the cases are ATA approved. My guess is that
they would be however, since NRG primarily makes cases for rock bands
that tour the world. I do know that I would feel totally comfortable
shipping my 1200 mount in the cases I have; not a problem. I have
actually stood on top of them (I weigh 220#) without noticing any
appreciable deflection on the tops (Kids, don't try this at home!).
Perhaps an e-mail to them would answer that question.
