California on fire
Gotta be honest, headline scared the bejeezus outta me. I've been evacuated too many times.

Setting up at Fremont Peak, California
I used to go there all the time when I was in the south bay. Great viewing especially when the fog rolls in to cover Salinas and Hollister. Clear skies!

Adapter for 8” portable pier to Match 2
#Mach2GTO
If it already has the flat plate adapter (119FSA) on it, just get the ADATRI and bolt it on. The Mach2 bolts to that

The Planewave version of the CDK 14 is 19" in diameter according to this http://pw-ecommerce.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/140101A-OVERALL-DIMENSIONS.pdf. I do think this OTA is too much for the Mach

I managed to get SkySafari working on mine as a test case. I don't ever use the mount visually, but I love SkySafari6, so I gave it a shot. Works fine through APCC Pro.

Possible to install the RAPAS + RAPM2 on the left side of the #Mach2GTO RA axis ?
#Mach2GTO
It looks like it would place the eyepiece upside down if you mounted on the left.

Meridian management
Thanks for chiming in Dale. This is exactly what I am looking for. I am in need of understanding 1.11 builds of NINA as I am still using 1.10. Getting the astrophotography capture software to interact

Thanks Andrea, I am doing something slightly different, I think. I am trying to predict when the flip might occur so I can tell my imaging software what to do. APCC is set to flip at the meridian limi

Thanks Marcelo, I had the API key from years ago, but I set it wrong in APCC. I had to choose ASCOM.OCH.ObservingConditions as the driver so I could select my PowerBox for temp and humidity, but use O

Thanks Marcelo, I have OpenWeatherMap API key stored in my ASCOM settings, but the pressure still appears editable in APCC pro, so I do. Not sure if I am missing something somewhere.

PS. I am using a Pegasus Astro Powerbox which has real-time temp and humidity monitoring. I enter the atmospheric pressure manually.
