Mini Computers and "what happens if things go wrong"
Oh, how interesting to use a touchscreen. I always have a monitor, keyboard and mouse - but this is much better. Thanks!

Agreed on that one. I had way too many instances where something works perfectly at home and then not at all in the field - and all you need is to download something... I actually use an ethernet swit

Just a few comments from my experience; I have been using NUC's on my telescopes for several years now. They sit at the pier/tripod and run one USB cable up to the scope where I have a powered USB hub

AC-DC Power supply for AP Mach1 GTO CP4
I have that power supply and it works for quite a while (2+ years) really well. But it doesn't get crazy cold in California, so I can't say anything about that. Mark

powertank/battery to travel - mach1GTO
Do you also want to power other equipment (filter wheel, focuser, guider...) from this battery? Or is it just the mount?

APCC does not report / update DEC position
One more thing: the 3D view in APCC does display the scope in the correct position!

APCC does not report / update DEC position
I suddenly have a very weird behaviour with APCC: It does not seem to update its DEC position to the higher level software. Example: I have the scope in Park2. I connect TSX to the scope (using APCC)

Sun tracking
I thought about Horizons - but that sounds like a lot of effort (though if it works, I take it). Where do I set "Solar Tracking" ???

Hi, I want to use my Mach1 mount for the solar eclipse in August. What is the best way to track the sun for the ~2.5 hours of the whole event? Of course, it doesn't need to be sub arcsec accuracy as m

New Product Rumors?
Actually, in the recent past, AP made several improvements to the Mach1 mount without creating a completely new mount: APCC, the new control box and soon (hopefully) the new auto-adjusting motor/gearb
