AP driver for Ascom question
Thanks Wade. I set the backlash to 5 seconds in the mount and left maxim at 0 and got a nice zigzag pattern from Pempro. Unfortunately the clouds moved in so i will check results tonight. Jeff

thanks Ray, So will the driver "override Maxim" if i have a zero setting in Maxim or will Maxim win? Also does 00.00.10 sound like a reasonable backlash? I have never used this setting before thanks j

Just some follow up and thanks to be given. the AP 1200 is guiding beautifully now that i decreased the aggresiveness and rebalanced the dec axis. I still get trailing stars the first few images after

New Mount Help Please
I did numerous 5 minute images with Y axis completely off last night and get perfectly round stars. These were binned 2X2 however. At 1X1 i am shooting at 1.69 arcsec/pixel. jeff
