Mach1 worm gear disengagement - proper procedure
Well, I think I am one of the owners who on a couple of occasions improperly tried to balance in one of the forbidden park positions. Not done intentionally but rather in my haste to get the balancing

Thank you for the in-depth and clear explanation of things to be aware of and check. I did the 5 min at George's request. I think the intent was just to verify the drifting and to note if it was in RA

I turned on SkySafari on my iPAD to connect to my mount as always. It connected then disconnected, then asked for my password and now is not even showing up as a network option on my iPAD. Any suggest

ok- this is how I have done it in the past but was questioning myself as I noticed in Park 4 the OTA was not balanced. Thanks much for the quick response

Mach 1 Balance
I have a couple of quick questions: 1- If I am initializing from Park4, should I balance the Dec axis (scope horizontally) from that position? I ask because I realized the OTA does not horizontally ba

Does the AP Mach 1 track its position digitally? Asking because this is a requirement to use autofocus in AstroArt7.

How best to control the Mach 1 to use SGP
What is (are) the advantage(s) of APCC + SGP vs. SGP alone? I've read about APCC standard but never purchased it when I bought the mount. I did not see a need at the time when I used a mobile setup.
