Recommendation for CP4 firmware update for remote telescopes
I would not try doing this with every thing connected. Sounds like a recipe for disaster for a remote setup (although Roland might put me at ease). Reminds me of the story about a new computer design.

What is the diameter and thread on the Pasil.4 polar scope?
I agree that practicing with your lathe will open a world of things you will be able to accomplish. I decided to get my lathe when I was quoted a very high cost to make a lens cell for a Zeiss flat fi

What's the effect of imaging through jet stream?
I think you mentioned that you were setup on a sidewalk.....if so were you shooting over pavement, or perhaps over roofs of houses? Both of those conditions will destroy your image quality.

Mach2 Unguided testing continues
One solution to your short hand controller cord is to get an extension from AP. I have one I got about 10 years ago that adds 25' extension to the hand controller. It has the matching male and female

I agree donating to a school isn't a good idea....won't get much use unless you can get a dedicated teacher that is willing to be there at night....without pay. I highly recommend donating to a scout

Thanks George....not certain I follow this..... if the CP3 controller is dedicated to the 900 mount and the CP4 controller dedicated only ot the 1100, I would think as long as you have a PE correction
