I can easily believe this. I’m using a rain app but it’s not bullet proof so I’m sure the unit got wet at some point. Unfortunately this is the best I can do at this point. What’s interesting is that

If both RA and Dec motors produce a yellow light then the mount is probably ok. It indicates that there's a loose connection between the controller and the mount gearboxes, most likely in the RA cable

This is what I did previously and the gears rotated 180 degrees and the Yellow light came on. I’ll verify this one more time but at the moment everything is working again and I don’t want to touch it

OK, I didn't thin that I can move the control unit so that both cables reach when swapped. I'll try that one more time today when I get home. If that fails, should I just call to 815-282-1513 number?

OK, plugged the RA to Dec (cannot plug Dec to RA as it’s too short) and nothing happens. When I open the gearbox cover I see the gears turning about 180 degrees and that’s all. Mikko

Thanks for the comments and recommendations. OK, what’s the easiest way to measure the voltage to the mount? I think I have a multimeter somewhere. I did end up buying another power source from Amazon
