OK, I will start from the beginning... 2 possibilities 1) autoconnect---YES used when the mount is permanently mounted and polar aligned mount begins in a parked position (1 or 2 or 3) power applied..

I agree, but mine is set to autoconnect-no...it should not start tracking until AFTER I tell it to resume from park. Norm

That is the way I remember my mount acting, Jim...It doesn't make sense to start tracking when you have to tell the mount to resume from some parked position that it is no longer positioned.. Anthony,

I can agree that it should start tracking upon power up in the autoconnect-yes configuration, but it doesn't make sense to start tracking after power up in the autoconnect-no configuration... Norm

Thanks Anthony I could have sworn that, in the past, I have powered up the mount and it stays parked until I tell it the location and resume from park...then it begins to track at the last known rate!
