APCC equivalent of hand controller "re-calibrate"?

APCC equivalent of hand controller "re-calibrate"?
Rolando, thank you--it sounds like you are saying that there's no problem as long as APCC is launched? However, I don't know whether my "synchs" (e.g. through Sequence Generator Pro, or Cartes du Ciel

APCC equivalent of hand controller "re-calibrate"?
Dear All, I am doing counterweight up imaging to extend tracking time; in the hand controller manual, we are told never to "synch" with CW up, but rather to "re-calibrate" to improve pointing accuracy

Calculating seeing; Re: Pixel scale vs seeing?
Thank you all, that's very helpful. I guess it's time for me to break out the tele-extender for galaxies! As far as quantifying the seeing, here's a way in PixInsight: Load an image into the workspace

Pixel scale vs seeing? Re: [ap-gto] Close up of M81 without CCDT67
Rolando et al., Some confusion on my part--I thought it doesn't provide any resolution improvement to image with a pixel scale below the seeing, ~1 arc sec per pixel in my neighborhood (on a good nigh

1) Starting with CW up; 2) Slewing to a target, landing CW up
All, AP 1100 mount: It's often useful to start an imaging run with CW up to avoid an eventual meridian flip. Currently, to do that, I slew to the target with the usual default of landing there with CW
