I think some 3600's are shipping soon, most I guess are destined for pier mounting in observatories. I am looking for tripod options for portable use. I see there is an ATS offering. I believe PWT mad

AP900 difficulties
To Joe Z.- I used 2 differant power supplies, including the new 'large'AP supply. Total weight of Traveler/ camera/stuff- about 35 lbs.- so not past mount capacity.Balance is accomplished by having sc

Using the STV for "precise" Polar Alignment
Based on the level of sophistication you employ, this might sound a bit basic. From your comment I cant tell if you mean you use FSQ for imaging, or are performing your alignment with STV in the FSQ?
