Mach2 update?
Just wondering what the latest is on about when these mounts may start to ship? Not pushing at all. Thanks Dean Virus-free. www.avast.com

Any special trick to not cross-thread AP1100 counter weight bar during install
I also have this problem but found a solution that works. The problem seems to be hold the bar at the correct angle when try to start the threads right? What I do now it to install the bar >before< pu

Carrying cases for the two parts of the Astro Physics 1100 GTO mount
I built mine out of 1/2” and 3/4” Baltic birch plywood. RA is same size as the shipping box it came in, using the same size foam. Dec is larger so I can lay it in with the saddle on turned 90* using s

Things that customers do that drive me nuts on CN
Great, that is why it has been guiding so well. Thanks, Dean

I need some help figuring this out. Been a very long time since my last math class The SkyX shows guiding errors in pixels, but min move settings are in secs. Suppose to be a way to change the guider

Gear mesh
I have mine so I don’t feel any play. But I use the larger gear in the worm gear box to check if it is too tight. By turning this back and forth with your fingers you can easily tell if you have it to

Mach1GTO vs 900GTO
Easy to handle since it breaks down into 2 pieces. Well worth getting more stability under your scope. I use a 10” astrotech truss RC on it and it handles a good breeze. Dean

Mach1GTO vs 900GTO
I went from a Mach1 to the 900 for portable use when I felt I needed a bit more capacity. No regrets, the 900 is a great mount. I actually have 2 now. One I bought new, and other used. Some great deal

Re-greasing the AP1200GTO Mount
Looks easy enough. Roland, did you say we will not lose our PEC if we rotate the worm with the paddle like in the video? Thanks

GOTO issue with Mach1GTO
The RAPAS needs to initially be adjusted after you do a good drift alignment the first time. Then you recal on a star.

Also look at the parallax piers. Have decent amount of adjustments for level. Can order any height. Dean

RAPAS and Polemaster
My pole master was way out of focus when I got it. They said it would be factory set but don't count on it. I get about 1 arc minute with it and the RAPAS so a toss up for me. I still do a quick tweak

Shortening the height of G11 tripod
Remember that the overall foot print will be smaller as well so might possibly affect stability. Otherwise no reason it could not be done if you have the tools. Dean
