Lost communications with mount
The NUC is a great solution. I have a BeeLink Corei5 NUC attached to my pier and I simply remote into it. Works great. Costs under $400.

Multi-star guiding
I just started experimenting with PHD2 new dev release which has multi star guiding. I can attest that in poor seeing there is noticeable improvement in guiding. This was with my EdgeHD 11 on AP1100 w

Do NOT use ASCOM Platform v. 6.5 with APCC Pro

I have been using v6.5SP1 (RC1) with no issues thus far although I am still using a 197 point APPM model from a couple of weeks ago which was created with 6.4 installed.

Ah, OK. I'll make these changes soon, but of course I may have to wait for the weather to clear. Might have a couple of clear spots tonight before I take in the OTA - storm 'Delta' is heading our way

My telescope is remotely controlled from my house to the outside property via a 100ft LAN cable. So I use Stellarium/Stellarium Scope for my pointing/slewing. The safe zone was created using APCC.

Thanks for the info. I had concluded myself that this might be the case. I believe SGP sends new coordinates.

I have had my NUC operating in -15C nights with no serious problems. During one session the display was pixelated but I’m not sure it was because of the temperature.
