How often do you need to polar align a permanent mount?
My 900GTO 10" Newtonian is on a permanent AP 8" portable pier on three 14?" square stepping stones in vegetable garden with a 365 Telegizmos cover. I attribute my changing polar alignment to moisture

Airplanes or ISS transiting Moon or Sun
Curtis Do you have any pictures/movies of those L.A. airplanes transiting the Moon or Sun? I'm working on getting a light weight mount, tripod and scope setup so I can easily relocate for an ISS Moon

Thank you for the mask link. Funny and makes a point. I sent it to 19 family and friends. Took a screen shot of hit count and 30 minutes later it had increased 9,000 hits. It's going viral on the viru

3 degrees difference from East to West side. That may be a 1.5 degree error in polar alignment. I think you can relate this to Roland's Polar alignment procedure for altitude adjustment. Center a star

A note about posting URLs
I did not know about the <URL> brackets. <http://www.jimmyjujames.com/> I found if I add a new return at end of URL it turns URL blue and makes it linkable. http://www.jimmyjujames.com/ Jimmy The sky
