How to embed a telescope and camera inside the Mach1?
I'd like to embed a QHY guidescope and camera semi-permanently inside a Mach1. That's good for polar alignment because it has better accuracy than, say, the Polemaster and being attached to the mount

How do I get two computers connected to the GTOCP4 WiFi to talk to each other?
OK I've got it now. The feature I am talking about is called "Client Isolation." On WiFi networks you can have Client Isolation which means that clients can't talk to each other. You can turn it off i

How do I get two computers connected to the GTOCP4 WiFi to talk to each other?
The GTOCP4 is a DHCP server. It allocates IP addresses 172.31.0.100 and 172.31.0.101 to two computers. It doesn't need to act as a switch or a router right?. The two computers should be able to talk t

How do you get the points out of an APPM model? Can you get them into a text file? If so then it's easy to get them into SkySafari or Luminos. If you are interested I can explain how. I don't know how

Improved lunar tracking speed ?

Comet tracking for photography with a non encoder GTO1100
You can use PHD2 to do comet guiding. Use Cartes du Ceil to send the tracking correction to PHD2. You can Google for full instructions but it's actually quite easy.

How about poles made for retaining walls? Treated and designed to be placed directly in the ground. The local supplier guarantees them for 50 years. Cost under $100.

More basic mount questions
No need to go "some more" beyond finger tight. I have actually forgotten to tighten the clutches at all and not noticed - slewing and guiding still worked.
