Really pretty image Tom! I'm just learning PI myself and have the same challenges with the image going soft during the noise reduction. Steve's comments are where I'd go too - a tad soft, maybe back o

Steve, thanks for the video link. I watched a video this morning that introduced me to a masking approach in PI that is very flexible and easy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Fj1o8sdyv8 Anyway, this

AP mount 1100GTO-tacking is moving too fast to object
Best guess is that your guider cable is not the right one. The connector at one end being reversed from what is needed will cause this effect. The direction of rapid movement will be a helpful clue. I

Steve, the reflection could be from inside your filter wheel or adapters for connecting it. Or from an OAG. I recall years ago that some people complained of flaring and odd artifacts that were traced

So, Steve and Joel, does it makes sense that they're caused by scatter off of something in the light path between the flattener and the chip and the flattener is directing the scattered light back dow

Steve, thanks for clarifying. Sorry I got confused. I think Rolando's comment about it being very close to the focal plane is a great point. Also, it looks like it moves around the edge of the frame.

Strange big misalignment in SkyX
Carmine, do you have the hand controller attached? Did you use it during this process? Another thing that happened to me with TSX and my AP900 CP2 was the timezone offset got reversed. It went from -5

Hmmm. So does TSX think your latitude is S or N? I had a number of parameters get toggled by who knows what. It happened when I reconnected my camera after sending it for service. All sorts of pop-ups

I'm stumped. I would go through every setting related to your location and the time that TSX thinks you're on. Timezone, DST, longitude, N/S, etc. Stuart
