This is a nice little (5') galaxy that I took over the last new moon. It's a bit off the beaten track. Seeing was goodish--around 2.5" FWHM, but transparency was woeful and the exposure was quite shor

Spurious guider move command?
I had something similar a while ago. Nice guiding for a few minutes, then a sudden blip. Replacing the usb cable from the lodestar fixed the problem. Geoff
