CP4 RA and Dec Cables
"The process of upgrading from a CP3 to a CP4 control box on the Mach1GTO, 1100GTO, 1600GTO and 3600GTO mounts is very straight forward. Remove the CP3 and replace with the CP4. Attach all the cables

Strange AP1100 behavior
APCC uses the AP ASCOM driver. In the Ascom driver you can select to get time and position from mount if you want to check that. Geert Vdbulcke Belgium. 2016-01-02 15:51 GMT+00:00 Mike C mike@scopenew

OK, Ray, thanks. It is a quite recent multi-core CPU with Win7. The only thing frequently using USB when this happens is the STi autoguider then, connected to the PC via a powered HUB. I'll check thes

Hi, While APCC standard and ASCOM drivers are active in the background, while imaging I get more or less frequently the pop-up window that the correct "V" chip has been found, is this normal behaviour

Yes, it does that to when you set a meridian delay in the Ascom driver, not using APCC, only TheSky6. Geert Vandenbulcke Belgium Van: ap-gto@... [mailto:ap-gto@...] Verzonden:

APCC Horizons not working?
Well, after stacking the images, it seems there is still an issue (not corrected in the right direction in declination), I think there is a choice somewhere to change directions settings - next test s

APCC Horizons not working?
Last night, APCC and Horizons worked perfectly, tracking comet C2014Q3 Borisov for about 2 hours. Now, let's have a bright comet come our way ;-). A big thank you to Ray to help trouble shooting! Best

APCC Horizons not working?
As already mentioned to Ray, with APCC standard I can connect Horizons to APCC (30-day trial), load ephemeris, make tracking simulations, but for actual tracking (on a comet) the mount itself does not

OK, Rolando, I'll keep that in mind once the bump on my head has worn off due to the telescope being in the "wrong" position ;-) Thanks, Geert Van: ap-gto@... [mailto:ap-gto@...

Ah, OK, I misunderstood the cause, scary! I have my Mach1 on a lowly Meade LX tripod, probably heavier than the Berlebach (and uglier) but it does the job, is metal and has two clamps on every leg, bu
