I enjoyed the discussion. I actually took the second version I did for this and combined it 25% with the first one and like it better. https://pbase.com/rchozick/image/170907173 I like the control and

large alignment error with polemaster & mach2
What degree of polar alignment do most find workable? I find that Polemaster gets me from 30 arc seconds to one arc minute polar alignment. Shouldn’t 1 arc minute be sufficient for guiding in most cas

Comet Neowise
I got some images of the comet at my favorite dark sky site. I took 10-2 minute, 10-1 minute and 10-20 second images. I was surprised that the 20 second images were the best. https://pbase.com/rchozic

Thanks for the nice comments. I really like this camera. I can see the more subtle gradients of color from the 16 vs 14 bit. I just wish they would make one with bigger pixels. Robert

This is my first light with my new ZWO ASI2600. This is the new ZWO 16 bit OSC APS-C size sensor camera. I really like the camera. I think I will keep it. https://pbase.com/image/170897549 Robert Choz

Which to Choose; Absolute Encoders or 92 mm Stowaway
I have a 900 and that is only 22 pounds. Maybe the 1100 is too heavy also but 42 for the Mach 2 is definitely too heavy. I could manage the Mach 1 weight but much prefer the single axis 900 weight. Ro

No stated limit. Whatever falls somewhere in between the two items. I generally do not ever pick up anything heavy. My back is not great. Robert

I have a 900 and I think the ability to split the axis for lower weight to carry makes a 900 or 1100 much more portable than the Mach 1 or 2. One of the reasons I changed from the Mach 1 to my 900 was
