Unguided imaging
This is amazing. I suppose one option would be to go ahead and guide with the allowance of a very large error before correction. This way the guiding program could allow a dither without really guidin

Today's APOD
This is gorgeous. I have attempted this enough to know how difficult it is to get it right and I sure have not gotten there. Robert

Demo, or "AP GTO for dummies"?
I think the reason you're confused is that you have to understand how simple the AP mounts are to use. In fact they are so simple to use that I over thought it and had trouble changing from a Celestro

Lost power on Mach 1
This happens to me also. The problem is the split pin connector inside the box. I have to periodically spread the pins apart to fix this and have lost power at inconvenient times because of it also. T

NGC 253 – the Sculp tor Galaxy - L, Ha, RGB
I find that NGC 253 is one of the hardest to get the color right. It is a very complex object. I really liked your luminance only as it shows the complexity of 253 but the color doesn't get in the way

PEMPro 3
Thanks. I will try it. I have version 3 of nebulosity but will go to 4 for this. I am now working on changing to The SkyX for imaging on my Mac.

Ray, I haven't checked in a while but have you included more capture software for pempro? I don't use maxim or Astroart. Have you included nebulosity? I never use your software because of this issue.

Park 1 anomaly in all mounts
I know it just says Park 1 in all the emails but I just want to make sure. I only use Park 3. So if I only use Park 3there is no problem, correct? Robert

If you return the mount to the exact same position that you left it in it will not change coordinates. I placed markers at the exact point of the park position on both axes of my 900 mount. I can move

You really should think about an inexpensive guide scope and guide camera, even for the short focal length scope. Imaging unguided will not get you a very long exposure even with the short focal lengt

Dealing with wind.
I use a shelter made of tarps and electrical conduit. It is a pain to set up but blocks all wind. The Okie-Tex star party has gusts of up to 50 miles an hour. I have a friend who sells kits for this.
