Re-lubing Mach1
When I took my 1600 apart, while there was some grease on the worm, the big gear was somewhat devoid of grease...I cleaned up as much from the worm as I could and applied a fair amount of Aeroshell...

Thanks, yes I agree that the mount for all intents and purposes is working well and that polar alignment is reasonable enough to get pretty round stars at 2942mm fl. Calibration numbers are the same,

Hi Mike, rule to It's been a long time since I used Maxim 5.x, but I don't think you want to use "ASCOM Direct". You want "Telescope", and you need to setup the Telescope to use the Astro-Physics ASCO
