Which GTOCP* connection do you use?
Negative. The CP5 is (currently) unique to the Mach2 because the CP5's motor driving circuitry is for running the unique-to-the-Mach2 brushless servo motors. The CP1/2/3/4 has circuitry for driving th

How much dew is too much?
Heavy dew for one person is light dew for another, so some context of what that means might help. Have you ran into this problem or are wondering just in case? I’ve never worried about my CP3. The hea

How to Re-grease a Mach1 with Auto-Adjust Motor Boxes?
It was original from 2008, so that factory grease was at least 12 years old. The worm grease was alright but the worm and spur gear grease was noticeably solidified and obviously in need of refreshing

How to Re-grease a Mach1 with Auto-Adjust Motor Boxes?
I'm not sure what the big deal is, John. Hardcopy instructions are included with the $25 grease kit that you can order over the phone from Astro-Physics. The paper instructions are certainly adequate

AP1100 Notification Suggestions
I wouldn't make this sort of simplistic assumption. Short of any design differences, thinking that tolerances are somehow purposefully lesser or more when comparing any two mount models is an odd thin

I just went full hog on the 1100 with the AEL variant. Here's one thing that Paige explained to me. You can reserve an AE or AEL model now and, if you need to, downgrade the order to a regular version

Remote power on/off via USB relay Arduino CH340. Maybe add it to APCC?
An ASCOM Switch driver would be a better solution here, as you can then control it from any ASCOM client application that can grok ASCOM Switch drivers.

There's a way to get Chrome to display certain sites in High Contrast mode, although it's not straight-forward to enable. This might help you with colors, which I don't think are under a mailing list

This same situation was answered here earlier this week. You must start TheSkyX as Administrator once so that it can register its ActiveX components with Windows, then it will work running as non-Admi
