If the servo controller has moved what it thought was the RA motor but in reality was the DEC motor, when it is hooked back to the RA motor, the RA worm drive assembly gears and worm won't be position

Can cables run through mount cause a motor stall?
Putting the gearbox back on with a different point on the RA wheel gear against the RA worm gear won't mess up your PEC curve. PEC is all about the worm gear position, not the worm wheel gear position
