Failed meridian flip with APCC and SGP and AP900 mount
Andrew, NINA is simply fantastic and elegant. I was an SGP user for several years but no longer. Skip the basic NINA sequences and go right to the advanced sequence builder. You should build a Horizon

Well done. Excellent processing. I’d like to see your data without stars removed. Eric

APPM Slew Warning then failure at the same spots every time
Brian, This issue was solved by Roland. He provided some updated Mach2 settings to accommodate my heavy OTA. I was really shocked by the improved performance. But, I think I was using 3s settle times

PHD2 "Use Dec compensation" on or off?
Will do Brian. I'll provide some feedback once I've collected more info. The seeing last night was too good to ignore. I've done a couple of runs already where I switched from the release version to y

Don, I own one, but have only used it with an RST-135E. It works as advertised. One of these days I'll try it on my Mach2. Just be aware that StarAid is pretty much a one-man-show. Hendrik, the owner/

PHD2 "Use Dec compensation" on or off?
I agree it was a good explanation of declination compensation. The question was if this option is relevant if an APPM high density all sky model is operating. The model would account for the variation

Did a search and couldn't find any info on this. If using an APPM tracking model (with Mach2) should the "Use Dec compensation" in the PHD2 advanced Guiding option be on or off? This is not the backla

APPM Slew Warning then failure at the same spots every time
Bill, I’ve had this Mach2 since Dec 20 but have only now tried a full sky model since I’m not in an observatory. Ive had the TOA130NFB a bit longer. It used to sit on a Chinese mount until I found A-P

Yup, with a fish scale and IAW the A-P balancing instructions in the Mach2 manaul.

APPM Slew Warning then failure at the same spots every time
A fair question. All 8 clutch knobs were tightened slightly more than hand tight with a hex wrench just before I started the model tonight.
