Dale With regard to the correct com port, I am unable to configure the driver since the driver configuration window won't open when I click on it after selecting the Ap V2 driver in the ascom chooser.

Hi Dale I haven't updated any of the serial to USB adapter drivers. I could try that. I don't think they are the problem though since I can connect to the mount and operate it fine through Maxim DL on

Bill Sounds like you may have a backlash issue in you RA axis gear train. Another possibility is the set screw on the gear attached to the worm gear shaft could be loose. Hope this helps. Don Anderson
