ASCOM driver hangs ACP
I'm a little unclear...Maxim does not determine the park position. The only "link" is that Maxim is set to guide through ASCOM direct. I DO NOT have it guiding through the telescope function (in guide

ASCOM driver hangs ACP
I am having an issue with ACP "hanging" at the end of an imaging session. I have a shutdown order for ACP at the end of the night where it parks the scope (1600GTO), warms up the CCD camera, shuts it

FINALLY have a clear night in SE Arizona, but 22 degrees...question for Ray...we discussed guiding through the ASCOM guider, which I have setup-I think. In the driver, there is a section RA/DEC custom

Odd mount behavior
That is what the tracking log said...my suspicion is a guider cable issue. I am going to try pulseguide as soon as I can get some input as to how to set it up....I would think a "mount problem" would

Thanks Ray. I would assume that I do not need to fiddle with Maxim's "Observatory" setup tab? I don't use any of those functions. I read in their help file that is needed for ASCOM. Also, in Maxim, ca

Setting up Pulseguide?
It would be easiest, perhaps, to bypass using the camera guiding cable. Question is, how does one setup and calibrate pulseguide with the ASCOMV2 driver? Running the serial cable, NOT USB. The driver

Odd mount behavior
Ray...in looking at the guider log, it looks thus: (Maxim version is 5.18). In looking at the .fits header, I can figure when the exposure starts (10 min subs) and when there is a guider exposure (8")

Noisy RA gearbox AP1600
So you are suggesting removing the right gear (the plastic looking one) as well as the center one and cleaning these and reinstalling (they are 7/16 wrench size)? Yes. These are the two cluster gears.
