I was hoping to eliminate the ST-4 cable from my ST-i guider to the mount and use the ASCOM interface with pHD. I use Maxim to control the main camera via ASCOM. Has anyone had luck with this set up b

Recal with APV2
Can the new APV2 issue a Recal command from the laptop? I couldn't find a button to accomplish that or do you still have to run into the observatory to accomplish that? I'm sure I've overlooked someth

Automatic Meridian Flip
That's interesting. In the Autosave Setup the Dither function is set to "Via Guider" which I assume uses the Guider relays. I use an external guide camera (Starfish) attached to a Stellarvue Nighthawk

Any AP/Mac users?
I use the new Intel Mac with the new version of Parallel and my copy of XP Pro. It actually runs Windoz programs (including start up) faster than my new Sony VAIO; how embarrassing for "the dark side"
