Help! Part 1: Everything always goes wrong!
I thought you said you had TSX in which case you don't need CCDSoft at all. Did you mean TS6? If TS6 then you do need CCDSoft5. I "think" you can still point TS6 to the ASCOM mount connection. In eith

Help!! Part 2!
Tom, that has to be a big part of the problem. As Rolando said in his reply, the polar alignment idea seems a long shot - it would show up in a big FOV in a 30 min shot but not in these shorter tests

Help!! Part 2!
Tom, you're pier base sounds solid enough. 5' should be deep enough especially with that 3'x3' base. That said, as others have said, you should probably recheck your polar alignment to be sure. The FS

Help! Part 1: Everything always goes wrong!
Tom, why are you using CCDSoft5 AND TSX? TSX has all the functionality of CCSoft5. CCDSoft5 is redundant and if you're using both you're adding complexity for no benefit. I used to use CCDSoft5/TheSky

Park position 3 is always wrong at end of night,
I have to believe you've got the time wrong somewhere. DST checkbox on or something. Does it park off by what looks to be one hour? Stuart

AP1600GTO No Guiding
Did the reverse x checkbox get unchecked? Or vice versa. Maybe it thinks it is on tho other side of the meridian from where the calibration was really done. Stuart

AP900 Gto Auto-Guiding woes.
LOL! I know. It was actually on my G11 being used for visual. It was on the pier beside the Planewave/Paramount. I got a mouse infestation in the Planewave and they tore out the heater wiring harness.

Christopher, I agree mostly with what you said. I think in my case, the rings are old and the felt is pretty much crushed so my 155 isn't moving in the rings like it might if the felt was thicker/newe

Vince, you want the guide scope/camera to be fixed relative to the back of your imaging scope. Ideally mounted on the focuser but with your scope that seems impractical. You could try a second pair of

Question on Taking Flats With Telescope on the mount
I didn't have the sense he was intending to point the scope straight up - I sensed he had a flat panel that was on a stand and he needed to point at it. I would vote for the custom park position as we

Guiding Issues
Antoine, thanks for that note. I wonder then if all that really matters is that you have the box checked for the camera doing the guiding. Checking both maybe doesn't hurt but you must have it checked

Guiding Issues
I agree. I think the forums at SB would help him. I use TSX with my "other" mount. In that instance, I have "Auto Reverse X on GEM" unchecked in the Camera tab and checked on the Autoguider tab. Works
