B+B Industrial USB Hub
Joe, this is very helpful - thanks for explaining. Of my two set-ups, the AP900GTO with the STL11000 (using internal FW and RGH) is a no brainer. There isn't a USB 2.0 device in the mix. All 1.1 and s

Testing USB-2 Hub Throughput with Telescopes Accessories
That would be interesting for sure. I don't know that I have enough hubs that aren't busy already to try it but I'm going to have to take a closer look at what I've got and see if some testing can be

Tracking issues with an AP600e Goto
Tom, almost for sure your autoguider cable is the wrong cable. You need one where the opposite end of the cable is flipped over. What is happening is power is going to the East button instead of where

New Image: NGC2264 The Cone Nebula
Steve, I think it looks great! I tried unfocusing my eyes to see if I could get the two images to merge and be 3-D but alas now all I have is eye-strain. LOL! Stuart

Guiding with Custom Tracking?
You can guide on the comet nucleus if you're using a guidescope (won't work of course if you're using a OAG or an SBIG camera with two chips in it). Stuart

Strange AP1100 behavior
Probably the CW shaft rose slightly above horizontal during initialization and the mount has gotten confused. Use a different park position or a custom one with the CW shaft measurably below level. St

USB-Ethernet Adapters?
There are many adapters that will convert to USB 3.0 to/from Ethernet. Check ebay. They're cheap too. Probably the good ones are not "as" cheap. ;-) Stuart

I think those buttons should work but you would need your camera attached and talking to the mount. Not positive but you might have to be using relays and have a cable running from the camera to the g

Bob, you ARE using relays. By attaching that cable, that is the means by which you are guiding. If you go into the ASCOM driver, you will see an option for guiding w Pulseguide in stead of relays. If
