Arp 286 (NGC 5566)
I was going through my picture files--what else to do in these times--and I came across this one from 2018 which I hadn't finished processing. However, better late than never, so here it

It's possible that I may have read the subject line wrong, but just in case, please also put my name in the hat for a drawing of a free Mach 2!
Clearest skies,
Walt

Kevin,
Use the Latitude Dimension Calculator. Choose the Mach1GTO…dimensions are approximately the same.

eDrawing for Mach2? Shorter CW shaft option?
Hi. First post here. I have been patiently awaiting my first A-P mount, the Mach2 GTO, which I order last year. I understand that I'm in Tolga's first batch of ten. I suppose that with the IL stay

Re: Lubrication interval
Don,
Lubricants do have a “Best Before” date, stamped right on their containers, especially the AeroShell (recommended by AP), which has to be reliable for aircraft use – thus the prefix.

You will have to re-do your PE curve. It's really quite easy with PEMPro.

There have been a few threads on this in the past.
For example,

Search for secret sauce and for Aeroshell
The former is an A-P product, the latter is

Re: AP Mount maitenance
Getting the old grease off and setting the gear meshes properly are the only annoying parts of the process. I think there is a YouTube video of a guy doing it exactly. Just watch that and you are good

Thanks Don. I tore in to it after my first post and got if fixed. I did basically what you said. The middle gear has a hex bolt behind it that controls how much it is meshed with the worm gear.
