Is there a way to completely clear an APPM-generated model from APCC?
I see i can disable pointing and tracking, but i want to remove the model completely from APCC

Re: Mach1 and GTOCP4 Yellow Light
Don't plug the Dec cable into the RA gearbox. No purpose for that. Just plug the RA cable into the Dec gearbox and see if that motor runs at the sidereal rate. See if the light turns yellow.

Re: Mach1 and GTOCP4 Yellow Light
OK, I didn't thin that I can move the control unit so that both cables reach when swapped. I'll try that one more time today when I get home. If that fails, should I just call to 815-282-1513 number?

Re: Bad X scale?
I had some good luck this afternoon following the hints below and writing my own set of options for the solve-field program that drives ANSVR.
I set my own values for field width to 25

Good stuff, thank you! I'll see if I dig out the failed plates and try them out.

Re: Bad X scale?
Mojo
For ANSVR, the most important factor is setting the field of view. For other solvers, like ASTAP, there are other factors, but I use ANSVR almost exclusively; although ASTAP may be faster.

Re: Bad X scale?
Thanks Ray, that's a point, but in fact I may not know my image scale exactly. I can get a number from successful plate solves. Maybe that actually is exact enough. The measurement from PEMPro

Markarian's Chain - unguided
Good morning,
Using my Mach1 and APCC-Pro/APPM I took this image over four nights without guiding. I used a Takahashi FSQ-106EDX4 and modified Nikon D800e to collect about 7.5 hours of sub images.
