You did not provide enough information to say what caused your issue.

However, you should not need to do anything to APCC's time settings because APCC automatically changes
the
time and time zone to compensate for each other, assuming you are using version 1.7.x.

If you did change the time zone or time offset then that caused the problem. If something else initialized the
mount
(e.g. hand controller or SkyX) then that probably caused the problem.

I am using APCC pro 1.7.1.1

Right now I am imaging the Crab Nebula at RA 6:39:31.4

and the Crab is located at 5:35:44.96

Disregard the minute differences how can I be an hour off?

I started from Park position 4 and physically inspected everything before beginning.

What is wrong?

How can I get back to normal?

You did not provide enough information to say what caused your issue.

However, you should not need to do anything to APCC's time settings because APCC automatically changes the
time and time zone to compensate for each other, assuming you are using version 1.7.x.

If you did change the time zone or time offset then that caused the problem. If something else initialized the
mount
(e.g. hand controller or SkyX) then that probably caused the problem.

please help me, this is so frustrating.

Using APCC Go To
After plate solving I moved the mount via APCC back an hour and found the Crab and centered it by imaging, then incremental movements.

All mount control is done via APCC pro.

At this stage Ray I just want to get reinitialized, back to normal.  At the end of the night can I park the mount (at position4) then adjust the mount by unlocking the clutches (if necessary) using a level to adjust the axis?

Re: APPM - can't connect to Driver #APCC

I was able to connect to the scope in APPM after checking off
Auto Config and Update Now in APCC.
I presume that's all that was needed?
Yes.

Hint: There is very good information in the help file. Clicking the "?" button in many of the control group boxes in APCC will bring you to the relevant section of the help file.

I keep getting an error when I try to connect to the scope in APPM. I can connect to my mount through MaximDL. I
can connect to the camera fine. When I click on Driver to set it up I get this error: "Error Opening ASCOM setup
dialog. Please check that the Astro Physics V2 Telescope driver is installed. Com Object that has been separated

I was able to connect to the scope in APPM after checking off Auto Config and Update Now in APCC. I presume

Thank you

i was told that there is a video on encoder installation. I would like to see it before tackling the installation. I can’t find it on the Astro Physics site. Can anyone help me find it?
I found a video on YouTube that was made in 2018. The video covers part one of the installation. It says there will be a part two video but I don't see it. Is there a video covering the entire installation?

Re: APCC subgroup rather than in main group?

I think subgroups are a great feature, as well.

Ray and I discussed setting up an APCC subgroup, but have not made a decision. Sometimes there is overlap with other discussions. We’ll be giving it more thought.

Do others have any opinions on this suggestion?

For historical reasons, the keypad updates require the top RS232 port on the control box.

Re: Problem with GOTOs in Keypad

The updater is not working. I follow all the instructions and it gets to "AWAITING HOST" and it stalls there. The program says "Sending page" and nothing. Database loader tool is 4.12. Keypad is v 4.19.3. I m connected to the right COM port. I am connected to the CP4 via USB2 as I have no RS-232 cable.
