I re-greased the RA. It was really relaxing and nothing to fear. No springs jumped out at me or other crazy surprises. The first test last night showed my RA improved by almost 50% reduction in RA

That is an excellent image - I really love these ONTC scopes. I went with the 8 inch f/4 as I did not think the 10 inch f/4 was a good match for the Mach1 and it has not disappointed me.

Tom Do you have the polar scope already? If so, get yourself a thread gauge and measure directly on your unit. You will need one anyway if you are serious about turning threads on your lathe anyway
