Shailesh,
You’ll need to remove the set screw that is in the hole. It is there to protect the threads. The other holes had button screws.

RAPAS on 1100GTO
I am trying to connect the RAPAS on my recently acquired 1100GTO. The bottom thumb screw of the RAPAs is too big for the screw hole on the 1100GTO RA axis cover plate. Am I missing something?

Hi Ray,
I have checked. APCC is not the one you mentioned. I have 1.8.3.1. All other are up to date.
Where I can download the APCC version?

Re: How to prevent small movements
If the small move is made as a timed move, the mount will move directly to the new position. This would be the proper way to send small dither commands to the mount, unfortunately not all programs

I agree,
The two antivirus programs are independent, but Defender hasn’t changed much in many years, so it is just testing its new features now. Consider it a trigger happy Beta for a couple of

Re: CCDWare site Trojan?
I think the false positive on CCDWare's downloads caused Malwarebytes to flag the whole site
afaik Malwarebytes is its own thing, keeping its own database of sites it considers safe or 'infected'

Hi George,
By any chance are you now running with the Build 2004 Update of Win-10?
Microsoft ... “drastically changed” its DEFENDER antivirus program in this recent major update -

Re: How to prevent small movements
Hi Konstantin,
Can you confirm you are using APCC Pro v1.8.4.1, firmware VCP5-P02-05, and AP V2 5.30.10?
There's no special version for this. I'll have to look into this. But, I will need you to

CCDWare recently (last week) moved to a completely new site, so maybe refreshing your browser will help?
The site will look similar but was completely rewritten well after

Re: Help With APPM and Dome Slewing/Camera Image Not In Sync
Hi Tony,
You have several options you can try:
1) You can use an intermediate ASCOM dome driver like "ASCOM Dome Control", that APPM can poll to determine if the slew has completed. If you do

Re: CCDWare site Trojan?
Let me make it clear - the domain ccdware.com is reported by Malwarebytes as having a trojan. It has been listed as so since Feb. 2020 on their server.
It doesn't matter which product you try to view.

Hi Ray,
yes that is what I mean. I thought I have the newest firmware (Mach2) and APCC Pro and AP V2, or are there special versions for people who wand that behavior?
By the way, did find out

Help With APPM and Dome Slewing/Camera Image Not In Sync
Hi,
Trying to use APPM for a mapping model but there is too much delay between the time the telescope slews to a new position (and the camera starts taking an image) and the dome rotates to that
