Re: Tracking issues with AP900
Mystery solved. It was balance And mirror flop. One of my plates was loose and pointing south allowed some motion which pushed things off balance. On top of that mirror flop on this SCT is really bad

Star Eccentricity Help
It seems most of my subs (1 min - 2 min) have eccentricities between .5 and .6. Now at .6 I'm throwing those subs out as you can see they are not round to the naked eye. I've been forced to keep .55

GTOCP3 Repair?
So, I was setting up the new-to-me 900GTO today and got a shiny new power supply and hooked everything up. When I plugged in the CP3 to the power source, it kinda flickered, but was on. I tried a test

Re: Pier flip before meridian crossing is not possible with SGP and Mach1
Set your meridian delay 1 hour east, then re-enter the object when the mount hits that point and the mount will flip.

Bill,
I currently have no limits configured.
I would like the pier flip to happen approximately an hour early so I can make sure everything is alright before it runs unattended for the rest of the

PEM not turning on via V2 ascom driver?
Question on how to run PEM on an AP1200 with CP3 and V chip.
Seems like PEM does not turn on via the driver?? or PEMPro all the time??????
Used PEMPro3 to get a nice pec curve ( I think it is good

Hi Leo,
From looking at your configuration, I think you need to change the flip offset to a value larger than the duration of your exposures. Say you are taking 5 minute exposures, you want the flip

Re: Power connector 900GTO
I think I got my locking threaded 2.1 x 5.5 connectors through Amazon. And then I made a couple of pig-tails to PP connectors.

Re: Power connector 900GTO
I think the 2.1 x 5.5 mm is the most elegant solution. I will do the ring connectors in the short term and fashion or purchase the 'real' connector.

Re: Power connector 900GTO
I should have clarified, on the CP3 I have that is the set up. On my CP4 I use the provided CP4 to PP cable.

Re: Power connector 900GTO
A simple 2.1x5.5mm center positive cable with appropriate ends works great. Powerwerx can make whatever you want.🙂 I run mine into a PP distribution box which is connected to whatever power source
