Selling an AP Mount, what is the procedure in AP?
I am selling my Mach1, which is registered in AP at my name, what do I and the new owner have to do to update that registration for future support?
Thank you,

Re: Remote power on/off via USB relay Arduino CH340. Maybe add it to APCC?
Yikes! Up to 250 VAC on the relay pins and no housing? That's a potentially lethal hazard just waiting for someone to grab as though it were any other USB device.
Use with extreme caution.

Whenever you do mount sync you shift both axes from the star point and establish a new start point according to the time that is entered into your mount at initialization. For every second of time

Mach1 Park 3 curiosity
This isn't a problem but I'm curious about what is going on here. I do a polar alignment (1 arc min accuracy according to PHD2) then unpark from Park 3 as shown in the photo at left. I do a night's

AP sells a grease kit for their mounts. This comes with everything you need including a brush. There is plenty of extra to apply a thin layer to the mating surfaces between the DEC and RA on a 1200GTO

I assume that as on the 1200 it is the joint between the Dec and RA. I use a waterproof grease.

Mount Maintenance
Hello all
I was reading the Mach 1 GTO manual as I do from time to time to refresh my memory. I noted something that I either didn't read before or just forgot. Under the "Mount Maintenance" section

Remote power on/off via USB relay Arduino CH340. Maybe add it to APCC?
Looking for a way to restart the mount I ventured onto Amazon and found this little USB relay device https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CN7E0RQ
After poking around trying to figure out how to use it

I was wondering about that! Thanks!
Eric, it looks like I can't use your abs encoder box on a 3600.

The GTOCP3 will work, but the personality will need to be changed. I can send you a script to do this.

Re: Looking for one or two CP3's
HOLD ON, PLEASE!! A GTOAE box can NOT be used with a 3600! The 3600 requires a GTOELS box. They are quite different. Please call me at AP if you want to discuss.
