Mike,
Right now I have the hand controller set to standard time and the computer likewise. Rather than go through the procedure to set the hand controller to DST, can I just go into the keypad,

Re: Which GTOCP* connection do you use?
You cannot plug a Mach2 into a CP4. Plugs are not compatible for one thing.
The CP5 is no different from the CP4 as far as software. If your ASI air will connect to a CP4, then it will also connect

Re: Quick Release Gearbox Modification for Older AP1600
Rolando,
Thanks. That is what I thought. George already responded to me in that regard.
But, is there a waiting list for the Quick Release Gearbox Modifications to existing AP1600 mounts?

Re: Which GTOCP* connection do you use?
Negative. The CP5 is (currently) unique to the Mach2 because the CP5's motor driving circuitry is for running the unique-to-the-Mach2 brushless servo motors. The CP1/2/3/4 has circuitry for driving

Kenneth,
NO…no…no! Do not even try that. Your CP5 is personalized to your Mach2.

Re: Imaging during EST to DST change over
The mount won't park itself unless it gets a park command from a 3rd party software. A clock change on your PC does not automatically get sent to the mount by itself, so the mount does not know about

Re: Which GTOCP* connection do you use?
Can i use the gtocp4 with my mach2 gto? I was toying with the idea as that will allow me to connect it with the ASI air pro which does not seem as yet to support the gtocp5.

George,
That is what I thought. But reading the PDF you provided a link to got me confused when I got to step 6 and the positioning of the DOVELM163 on the Dec Axis.

No. First you balancing each scope front to back when they are set up exactly as they will be used (and focused), Mark the balance point with blue painter’s tape. Then put them into

George,
So you assemble everything on the side to side plate – both scopes and accessories – and then place the dowel rod under the assembly and check the balance point for position the side
