I am thinking of investing in APCC and I wondered which one to go for. My mount is an AP1100 Gto.
I have tried to download a copy for testing but for some reason I cannot download it. Your guidance

Re: APCC PRO - New to APPM and Pointing Model
Roberto,
There is a lot of good info in the APCC PRO manual. Although I have been using APPC Standard for years, on Saturday, I printed out the PRO manual and started going through the entire book.

Re: Mach2 - Elongated stars
I would fix the collimation issue. I had a similar issue with elongated stars on my Edge11 and once I got the collimation fully corrected the elongation problem went away.

Re: Mach2 - Elongated stars
SBIG cameras have had some vibration problems. Could be the root of the issue at hand. Not likely the Mach 2 though.

You can easily identify which battery you have when you open up the keypad and compare it to the pictures of the multiple versions shown on the AP website. Just be careful and do it slowly.

Send them the serial number off of your keypad and they will let you know what battery you need. George at AP emailed me the battery number, I called last week and placed the order. It was shipped

Thanks for feedback, did some more reading and think the very cold weather depleted the battery, and I need a replacement. I understand I can only get this from astrophysics per manual, but do not see

Quick Easy Question About Manual Meridian Flip In APCC Pro

Aloha All,
The last couple nights out with the Mach 2 has been going very nicely. I have both the laptop (with APCC Pro) and the keypad (set to EXT) out with me.
Seems like I always end up choosing

Their website says the device has ASCOM drivers so I assume it does.

Re: FTDI USB-to-Single Port Serial Adapter
Thank you all for your advise, it is really appreciated.
I will try to download the new driver from FTDI and see if that sorts the problem out.
Once again thank you for taking the time to reply.

If it has an Observing Conditions driver you can install that and configure APCC to use it.

It does have an ASCOM driver, reads temperature, pressure and humidity. Not sure if that qualifies? I’ll check with Primaluce.
