Thanks for the additional tips. A few of the checks you describe below
(clutches, star motion in the focus windows and motor movement/stalls)
were something I also had looked into.

Does the AP900 guide as well no matter which RA side has a slight imbalance. I always try to balance as well as I can but I continually hear that a mount should be slightly imbalanced to

The only thing available to me are the corrections themselves and this
is something I can see anyway on the AUTOGUIDE tab within CCDSoft ...
and when I see successive corrections such as -0.2, -3, -6,

confirmed that you can uncheck the box to make corrections in the X & Y
axis. Maybe this has happened by

box that says something like "Flip mount sides". In Maxim, you can
