I control my 900GTO and 1200GTO remotely without the hand pad
connected. I first use the hand pad to set the mount's servo to EXT
operation. Then I power down and disconnect the hand pad. You

Thanks for the info. While the DSI is, IMO, not what I would want to
image with, it seems to make a good guidecam and I am glad I will

Yep
You won't be using Pulseguide for general scope control, but rather
the ASCOM driver. This should work with any ASCOM compatible app,
which includes PHD.

load off the back of a C9.25 and therefore the scope is pushed pretty
