I agree Rolando, it is some type of anomaly with The Sky, not with the mount. It must be something with my particular system as my friend with exactly the same setup does not have the issue.

required? I just checked the AP website and I see the comment "Adapter

I suggest you monitor what's being sent on the serial port controlling your scope using the free portmon utility at www.sysinternals.com. When TheSky establishes a connection it sends what it thinks

Nope, my meridian flip is just fine. Pointing is perfect, Pulseguide will park perfectly, I'll set the Pulseguide park position as my The Sky park position, slew east and it will park about an hour
